Another FREE Hallowell Area Board of Trade event.
Our Business After Hours Event is quickly becoming one of our most popular events. With a waiting list for next year, all of our slots have been filled for 2010.
Please call Ruth LaChance of Combined Benefits United, 207-215-6685 to reserve your spot and go over any of the details or to donate a door prize for any of our upcoming dates.
Here is how it works.
1. HABOT will design, (if needed), and mail out postcards inviting our membership to the event and you can add non-members to this list as well. RSVP to Ruth@CBUTeam.com will give you an idea of the return and how to plan for the event.
2. HABOT will email a reminder of the event a few days before to stir up the interest.
3. HABOT Marketing Committee will help you solicit door prizes for other interested members.
4. You pick the venue, any appetizers, music, alcohol, etc..
5. You the spot-lighter will have 15 minutes of fame to describe your business, with a slide show, verbal speech, hand-out, video, etc.
6. Your business will take all the business cards collected at the event to add to your marketing database. Along with having your business name announced at the event several times.
7. HABOT will collect business cards from each company and or person attending the event and have the door prizes draw close to the end of the event.
8. Just a couple of rules; you must be a paid member of HABOT to have the privilege of spot-lighting one of our events and we very much need it to stay on the third Thursday every other month. Your business will be billed for the printing and the postage costs.
