Hallowell is a featured city for Maine Craft Weekend, happening October 14 & 15! There will be a variety of events around town, including the Harlow Gallery’s popup shop with ceramic artists Rebecca May Verrill of Portland and Dylan Gifford of Kents Hill on Saturday and Sunday, October 14 and 15, 10am-4pm each day.
The project name and logo will be unveiled at Old Hallowell Day on Saturday, July 15. “Down With The Crown” committee members will host an information booth at Water & Central Streets during OHD from 9am until 2pm.
Harlow Handmade returns in time for the Summer Members’ Show & Sale, opening June 30. Harlow Handmade is mini exhibition of locally crafted Harlow Gallery/ KVAA merchandise, on display inside our gallery window space (while supplies last).
The Harlow Gallery, 160 Water Street, Hallowell, is hosting a pop-up show and sale of art and craft by the artists of SpinOff Studios. The SpinOff pop-up shop is open from Wednesday to Saturday, July 12-15. Gallery hours the week of Old Hallowell Day are 12-6pm Wednesday – Friday, with expanded hours on Old Hallowell Day, 10am -6pm. Stop in and welcome them back to Hallowell.
The Harlow Gallery invites artists working in the comic book industry and artists inspired by comic book art and themes are invited to submit work to be considered for POW!, our upcoming juried art show on view September 8 through October 21, 2017. The submission deadline is August 1, 2017 by 11pm.
