Harlow Gallery - Kennebec Valley Art AssociationThe Harlow Gallery has been a fixture in downtown Hallowell for over 40 years — since 1960. The gallery is the home of the Kennebec Valley Art Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit membership based arts organization. The KVAA is dedicated to promoting the arts in central Maine and especially in Hallowell by offering monthly art exhibits promoting local artists. The Harlow Gallery offers regular arts related events, all of which are open to the public, including monthly “Art Talks”, weekly figure drawing sessions, arts workshops and demonstrations, film screenings, poetry readings, and more. Membership is open to artists of all types and arts supporters for a low annual membership fee.

Dues directly support programming at the Harlow Gallery.

Opening celebration with refreshments provided and with live music by Joshua Hatfield of Lewiston. Hatfield is studying Jazz and Contemporary music at UMA and has been a professional piano player for 8 years.
