Row House Presents: Hallowell’s Federal Style Architecture, 1790 – 1830 @ Hallowell City Hall Auditorium
Sep 25 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

  •

Between 1790 and 1830 Hallowell’s population increased from 1,200 to 4,000. During these four decades, the community grew dramatically from a small village to one of Maine’s major commercial centers. Federal was the dominant architecture of the period, and Hallowell’s prosperity resulted in many beautiful homes and buildings in the style that two centuries later remain an integral party of today’s city. This power point presentation explores the rich heritage of Hallowell’s Federal Period architecture through historic images and current photographs.

Wednesday, September 25th Hallowel City Hall Auditorium 7PM
