The Harlow Gallery has been connecting and celebrating art, artists and community in downtown Hallowell for over 50 years. The gallery is owned and operated by the Kennebec Valley Art Association, a membership based 501(c)3 nonprofit arts organization.
Since founding the Harlow Gallery in 1963, the KVAA has been dedicated to promoting the arts in central Maine, by presenting exhibits of art by Maine artists and a diverse schedule of cultural events, all of which are free and open to the public; including gallery talks, classes, Second Sunday community art workshops, poetry readings, and ongoing groups for artists such as weekly figure drawing sessions. Memberships, donations and sponsorships make it all possible – get involved today and be a part of the art!
Dues directly support programming at the Harlow Gallery.
