Cox Memorial United Methodist Church has had a presence in Hallowell since 1802 and remains a vibrant, vital presence in the community both as a worshipping community and as a faith community engaged in significant outreach to our neighbors.

The church is home to the Hall-Dale Elementary School Food Pantry that provides supplemental food support to students living with food insecurity. While our worship style can be described as “traditional,” each Sunday offers a Spirit-filled opportunity for praise, thanksgiving and a re-commitment to Christian discipleship.

The welcome offered to new-comers is always warm and genuine. Our pastor’s messages are faith-based, Scripture-centered and placed within the context of today’s challenges and opportunities for life and living.
